Compass Investments was founded in 2006 by Julie Reed, a retired Master Chief Petty Officer from the United States Navy.

The compass rose in our logo was selected because it displays the four cardinal directions of north, south east and west and has been a reliable guide to navigators for centuries. Compass takes a client-centric approach to investment management. With Advisors located in the Northeast and the West Coast, Compass serves clients nationally and abroad.

Our backgrounds have led us to conclude that with the fusion of technology and experience, we are able to reduce layers of unnecessary administration, enabling lower overall expenses, which provides a greater opportunity to guide clients along their path towards financial independence.
