Olivia Knecht, CFP®

I joined the team at Compass Investments LLC in 2016. During this time, I worked with the advisors on much of the behind-the-scenes work involved in creating and implementing financial plans. I saw various plans and goals come to fruition and I knew that I wanted to take on a more involved role in developing those plans.

In March of 2021, I sat for the Series 65 – the NASAA Investment Advisers Law Examination – and received my license as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR). I furthered this education by completing the CFP® curriculum through Bryant University. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ I have a fiduciary responsibility to my clients to work in their best interests based on their specific circumstances and investment objectives. My work with clients is centered upon discussion of their financial goals and helping them achieve those goals through implementing strategies that fit their individualized situation.

I obtained a Bachelor of Philosophy Degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh Honors College. With a background in psychology, I understand the emotionality of personal finance. Every person comes from a different background with different views and different goals. There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to investing and as an IAR, I base my recommendations on each individual’s unique situation and tolerance for risk. My goal is to help my clients plan for the future, and feel secure in their present.

If there’s anything that I can help with, don’t hesitate to reach out. I would love to hear from you.
